Welcome to Nuru! For nearly four years now we have been delighting
a wide and growing clientèle — faithful friends and visitors from other
countries. To our enormous satisfaction, clients have consistently
given us excellent reports on the best websites.
What is the foundation of our success? It certainly helps to be in Palma’s leading night-life district, Santa Catalina. You can feel its energy as soon as you walk on its streets. That energy we have transformed into the most exciting cuisine.
An open kitchen at the back reveals the chef at work.
Although his experience includes working at some of the top rated restaurants in the world, Jesús Pérez de la Fuente – affectionately known as chef Chus – has his heart firmly in Nuru and in Santa Catalina, his birthplace.
Chef Chus has the benefit of nearby Santa Catalina’s food market, where he chooses most of the fresh seasonal produce used to create his much-appreciated cuisine, which reveals plenty of Asian influences.
We take no short cuts: quality, freshness and finesse are our watchwords. Like the best wine our dishes need time to achieve perfection.
You will be seduced by our unique dishes combining exotic flavours while presented beautifully on the plate. Delights for the palate and also for the eye.
We have designed our starters to begin a truly convivial meal for everyone round the table: you never eat alone at Nuru!
Nuru’s atmosphere is wonderfully enhanced by the paintings of the Hollywood director, writer, actor and artist Jordi Mollà. Feast your eyes, illuminate your soul!
We trust you'll agree that it's worth waiting for the best: we work patiently because we believe passionately in the best.
Why "Nuru"? Well, our name comes from the African language Swahili’s word for Light, Vitality and New Beginnings. We find that sums us up quite nicely.
So come and see why “Nuru” has been on every gourmet’s lips for nearly four years!
Restaurants come and go in Palma. But Nuru is here to stay! Always eager to give you a fabulous night out which you’ll never forget.
